Marine Projects

Phil has experience from all over the world successfully completing various marine projects. These projects have included international sales, cross border finance, managing engineering specifications, project execution and commissioning and establishing product support, sometimes in very remote countries.  


Some major program highlights include:


  • US Navy – prototype and initial concept design and selection of main propulsion for LCS
  • Australian Customs – design, delivery and commissioning of the main propulsion and controls in the Cape Class patrol boats, including ongoing integrating logistics support for the fleet
  • Royal Australian Navy – design, delivery and commissioning of the main propulsion and controls in the Armidale Class patrol boat
  • Indian Coast Guard – design, delivery and commissioning of the main propulsion and auxiliary power
  • Thai Navy – provision of main engines for the Thai Landing Craft Platform

  • Presently engaged with a Copenhagen energy-based EPC contractor, BWSC (a division of Mitsui), to advise on large waste to energy projects and decarbonising of Australian mining’s operations, including deeper integration of renewables and hydrogen into mine processes.
